San Diego Death Talk

Spearker/Presentation TBA

DEATH TALK serves as a space for people who are curious about end-of-life care rights, dying, and death. Conversations will range from medical aid in dying to green burials to planning an advance health care directive. We want to educate and empower individuals to make informed end-of-life decisions.

Facilitated by volunteers of Compassion & Choices California.
C&C encourages conversations about California's End of Life Option Act (medical aid in dying), voluntary stopping of eating and drinking (VSED), hospice and palliative care, and accessibility to your full range of end-of-life care options.

Guidelines: Respect those who are speaking; allow the person to finish their thought and refrain from interrupting; allow for all members to participate. If you are someone who feels comfortable speaking in large groups, make space for others to share; voice concerns about the group dynamic to the leader at the end of the meeting.

We will not tolerate: raised voices, bullying or abusive comments, interruptions.
