Dog Park Meetup in PB Sunday, July 28, 2019 5:00 PM

Dog Meetup (Weekly) SD / Pacific Beach : 20's, 30's, 40's

The purpose of this event (in Pacific Beach, San Diego) is to meet other dog owners and for our dogs to meet other dogs.

At 5 PM on Sunday, we will meet at the entrance (open gates) of the fenced-in soccer field behind Crown Point Elementary School: corner of Fortuna Ave / Jewell Street.

This is NOT an official dog park. There are "dogs must be on leashes" signs, but few people keep their dogs on leashes when they arrive. Although I have been told that--in the past--people have been ticketed there for unleashed dogs, I have brought my dog here daily for the past three months, and I have never been ticketed or heard of someone who has in recent months. Usually, two large gates are chained open, so there is a place for dogs to escape. If you are worried about tickets or about your dog making a run for it, you can keep your dog on a leash.

I will be wearing an over-the-shoulder black backpack. I will send my phone / text number to people who RSVP yes, so you can contact me if necessary. However, there are rarely more than 10 people at the dog park, so finding the group and me will be relatively easy. And it's a fenced-in soccer field, so there isn't much ground to cover.
