1954 Pontiac Bonneville SpecialDel Stewart

1954 Pontiac Bonneville Special Concept. Beautiful enough to bring tears to the eyes, designed by Harley Earl. It was Pontiac's first two-seater. All plexigass canopy, gullwing panels (I'm still not quite sure how one gets in and out of it), fiberglass body.

A few years ago when Pontiac disappeared, there was no outcry, no cry, no particular expression of loss.  It seemed to have lost the battle for interesting cars to GM's other divisions.  One of its final statements was the Aztek who's ugliness and disproportionality is enshrined as Walter White's car in Breaking Bad. Had they been producing a 90's version of this car, I would have cried to see it go.
