The Disco Volante concept designed by Touring Superleggera is one of those rare concepts that is actually put into production, albeit limited production, almost unchanged at least in terms of styling. Since this concept was not a working model and didn't even have any innards to speak of, actually putting an engine in it was a prerequisite for, you know, making it go.

Based on the Alfa 8C Competizione, the production model will have the Alfa nameplate and be included, as yet another Alfa Romero, on the 100 other beautiful cars list that I write for my Del Stewart Reports blog.
